Water Sines — Immersion

With the new Water Sines release, Immersion, guitarist Sidney Genette and hang drum percussionist Steve Davis chart new territory in a genre that Genette calls “music for yoga.” Genette’s drone-style guitar sounds are backed by the soft hand-on-steel tones of the hang drum to create a warm, simple, and relaxing sound bed. This new collection picks up where the Water Sines debut album, Songs in the Key of H20, left off with Genette’s electric 12-string guitar work now paired with acoustic guitar on many of the tracks. The result is an ambient psychedelic sound that will soothe listeners’ sensibilities, provide a wonderful tool for relaxation, and create a blissful environment. This music bestows on the listener gentleness and ease, and promotes a journey into the unknown.
